FORD FOUNDATION POSTDOCTORAL DIVERSITY FELLOWSHIP

Award Amount: $40,000

The Ford Foundation Postdoctoral Diversity Fellowship is open to U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals who are committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level. You must demonstrate superior academic achievement, be committed to a career in teaching or research at the college or university level, and be awarded your Ph.D. or Sc.D. no earlier than November 30, 2006 and no later than November 28, 2008 in an eligible research-based field from a U.S. educational institution. Preference will be given to applicants who are members of one or more of the following groups: Alaska Natives (Eskimo or Aleut), Black/African American, Native American Indians, Mexican American/Chicanas/Chicanos, Puerto Rican, Native Pacific Islanders (Polynesian/Micronesian).
